Chesh is Amazing!

Really fun game. Dont let the randomness fool you, theres lots of strategy to it.

Theres a lot to this!

Its a really fun game once you get whats going on! It has a lot of different modes and ways to play. Even having online multiplayer which is great! Thoroughly enjoyed.

Brilliant!

Really intriguing game with a great variety of play modes and options! Im deleting the plain old "chess" App off my phone.

Very cool twist on chess

Gameplay is fun and likely to stay fresh for a long time. Local multiplayer on a phone is very welcome, too. Could use a more approachable breakdown of rules and concepts, though.

Amazing!

Really enjoying this game!

Accessible and Fresh

If you dont mind the unknown, Chesh cuts out the intimidation of needing to have studied for the match. The game rewards quick thinking and short term recall with all the geometric strategy of the centuries-old predecessor

Chesh is brilliant

There is so much nuance to this game that the most skilled player or the most inexperienced will both have a great experience playing it. Brilliant work

Great game

Perfect. Its simple and intelligently randomized. Play it few times and youll see that its not all chaos.. Play it a few more times and youll be hooked.

Brilliant

A little like chess, but totally different. Pieces and movements are randomized each game. The early game becomes one of information gathering and protection, while late game becomes about remembering what pieces do and how to use them effectively. Games play out quickly, making it great for mobile. Love it.

Love it

Interesting game. Love the art style and sound. Would buy again.

Wow!

If you like chess games, or if you like board games, or if you like randomly generated games, or if you like fun games, or if you like puzzle games, or games that look awesome, or..... If you like GaMes in general, get this game! Amazing and addicting

Strange

This game is really weird and Im not even sure I "like" it but it sure has a lot of really neat ideas. I respect the audacity of decisions like not allowing the switching of selected units after the fact even if it feels like it messes me up constantly. I could see folks with some experience really make this thing shine though. I recommend it but definitely suggest keeping an open mind, and let it teach you a bunch of lessons about the "whys" of game design. Its a wide open possibility space out there and someone needs to explore it.

Amazing game!

If you love chess but wanted a different take on it this game is for you!!

Random but not

A lot of this game is random, but its got patterns within each game. You have to be able to memorize what each piece (read: sprite) moves like. Its not limited to the rules of Chess and I really enjoy that. I dont know though whether or not each sprite keeps the same movement across games. This game is worth your time and money.

Perfectly Obtuse

Imagine being trapped in a strange chess-like game on an alien world, with no understanding of the rules. With each move you make, you get a better understanding of how to play the game. Just hope you figure it out before your opponent does. Chesh is procedurally generated to keep you endlessly confused, but maybe if you keep your wits about you, youll start to see the patterns...

Wow

This game is so unique, and its kinda like chess, but its incorporated so much of its own elements that is something most people havent encountered. Its very clever. I also would like to recommend that the following changes/improvements are added to the game. -there is a bug where the opponents last move is not shaded or shown - Infinite mode should be the default game mode. My experience got much better when I found a non-timed mode. - AI, not PvP should be default when first opening the game - The concepts tutorial should not allow you to skip to the next one unless the current concept has been performed. The first time I ran through it, I skipped to the next concept after only moving each piece once and was left only more confused when finishing the tutorial. -please allow the game to save its state in memory. Not a huge deal as games are so short, but would be nice. - An option to disable background animations could be beneficial

Simple and fun

Chess type game where you are assigned random pieces from a large 500+ pool. You then must try to elongate several units from the other player. The fun part it each piece moves completely different and once you select a piece you just move it. Even if the only available move forces you to take your own pieces. You pay attention to yours and your opponents moves and try to learn the pieces well enough to to win. Its very fun, lots of customization and endlessly replayable. A pure joy to play, Quick and fun, this is true iPhone digital board gaming.

Wow

It is very fun and different each play Chess like board game with random piece rules movement Nice....

Still figuring it out...

I get that the games are supposed to be random but there is still little direction as to how to win a match. There a timer, pieces get overused and break but there seems be be other win/lose conditions that arent made very clear. Great potential if you understand it

Pure Fun

This has become my go too game, great concept and mechanics for infinite fun.
